Our idyllically located 18-room house in the immediate vicinity of the historic mountain church and the local museum looks back on over 100 years of history. The stately chalet was built in 1919 by the important St. Gallen textile producer Beat Stoffel. In the 1950s and 1960s it housed a girls' boarding school and since 1971 it has been the location of a lively and cosmopolitan hotel business.
What guests like is the sophisticated mix of old and new, tradition and innovation. Cozy pine rooms with romantic log fires, lovingly staged decor, a successful combination of antique and modern furniture and warm hospitality make the Stoffel your home in the mountains. Many also speak of a true place of power with incomparable charm.
From here you can start in just a few steps into the diverse hiking, biking and snow sports area. Leaving everyday life behind is easy. The irresistible beauty of the Grisons mountains, many hours of sunshine, sparkling lakes and, in winter, the breathtaking snowy landscape make a stay in Arosa a source of new energy and joy of life.
